Key Steps
Exploratory Interviews
To align the platform with real user needs, I conducted exploratory interviews with students from diverse academic backgrounds. These sessions uncovered key pain points, including juggling multiple tools, missing deadlines, and difficulty coordinating group work, which informed the platform's design.
Problem Definition
The research revealed common issues students face, such as managing deadlines across various tools, staying organized, and working collaboratively in group settings. These insights shaped a clear problem statement, ensuring the solution was directly aligned with user needs.
This project began with exploratory interviews to uncover the key challenges students face in their academic lives. Based on the insights gathered, I decided to design a user-centric app that simplifies academic task management, reduces stress, and enhances collaboration on group projects. By applying Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies, I ensured the platform was directly aligned with students' needs and addressed their most pressing concerns.
Value Proposition Canvas
I developed a Value Proposition Canvas to define how the platform creates value for students. By integrating task prioritization, shared calendars, and collaborative tools into one centralized app, the platform enhanced productivity and provided stress relief.
MVP and Proof of Concept (POC)
I created a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for CampusVie, showcasing features such as task prioritization, group project management, and a unified calendar. The Proof of Concept demonstrated the platform’s potential to improve academic organization and collaboration among students.
